Review by hotel critic
I recently had the opportunity to visit Lux Bar in Munich for a short getaway, and I must say, it was an interesting experience. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Upon arrival, I checked in over the lively bar, which set the tone for the rest of my stay-an eclectic blend of vibrant atmosphere and retro décor. The culinary offerings are noteworthy. The in-house restaurant team impressed me with their creative take on both international dishes and traditional Munich fare. I indulged in a hearty plate of sausages for breakfast, accompanied by excellent coffee. The breakfast buffet was diverse, with fresh croissants, cheeses, and warm options that catered to a variety of tastes. As for the bar, the staff displayed a commendable dedication to craftsmanship while mixing classic cocktails. It was a treat to watch them at work. I did notice some inconsistency in service, as a few staff members were less than cordial. I left with fond memories of great food and cocktails that would entice any food enthusiast visiting Munich. A solid choice for those looking to immerse in the local vibe.
